Add the line in Fuel service department software
Use the following steps to add a line to the appointment or repair order in the FUEL Service Department software:

  1. Click the Add / Edit Lines or Lines Summary button on the appointment or repair order window in the FUEL Service Department software. If you clicked the Lines Summary button, the Lines Summary Information window appears. Click the Add Line button after this.
  2. The RO Line window appears. Enter the necessary information in the fields:

    OP code - Enter the operation code in this field. Click the button to search for existing operation code using the search function of the FUEL Service Department software. Click the ALTG button to search for the operation code in the ALTG database.
    Description - The customer complaint description, which is filled automatically by the FUEL Service software after the operation code is entered. It can be changed manually, if necessary.
    Customer complaint - The customer complaint written from the customer.
    Labor type - The labor type indicates, who is paying for the work performed, calculates the labor pricing, parts pricing, shop charges, and taxes for labor and parts, contains General Ledger (GL) account numbers for the accounting entry. Enter it manually or click the button to search for existing labor type using the search function of the FUEL Service Department software.
    Dispatch code - Dispatch codes are used by the dispatching system for calculating hours to sell. Dispatch code together with the time recorded in the operation code are used to estimate the hours available to sell for each repair category. Usually, the dispatch code is filled in automatically by the FUEL Service Department software after the operation code is selected. Change it, if necessary or click the button to search for the existing dispatch code using the search function of the FUEL Service and Repair software.
    Comeback - Select the check box, if the current operation is a comeback.
    Technician number - The number of the technician to be working on the current line. Enter it manually or click the button to search for existing technician using the search function of the FUEL Service Department software.
    Estimated duration - The estimated amount of time for performing the current labor operation. If it is not specified on the operation code record, the FUEL Service Department software takes the duration amount from the associated dispatch code. Change this value manually, if necessary.
    Line estimate - The estimated cost of the work on the current line.

  3. Click the Save and Close button to save the information in the FUEL Service Department software and to return to the repair order or appointment window. Click the Next or Save & New button to add another line. Click the Previous button to return to the previous record. Click the Cancel button to exit the RO Line window and to return to the repair order or appointment window without changes.
