APPOINTMENTS IN FUEL SERVICE DEPARTMENT SOFTWARE
Appointments are agreements between the dealership and customer on the date and time, when the vehicle can be serviced. Appointments include the customer's service requests, the date, when the repair is finished, the estimated amount of the repair etc. The appointment can be cancelled or converted to the repair order in order to service the vehicle according to the customer's complaints. Use the following ways to view and manage the appointments in FUEL Service Department software:

  • Select Modules / Appointments on the main menu or select Appointments from the Navigation Pane of the FUEL Service software. Use the search function to search for the necessary appointment record on the Appointments List window of the FUEL Service and Repair software. The main Appointments List window contains the following information:
    Appointment main window
    App. Date - The date the appointment is scheduled for.
    App. Time The time the appointment is scheduled for.
    Number - The number of the appointment auto-generated by the FUEL Service Department software.
    SA - The name of the service advisor monitoring the customer.
    Promised Date - The date the repair is expected to be completed.
    Creation Date - The date the appointment record is created in the in FUEL Service software.
    Customer Name - The name of the owner of the vehicle: either customer or company.
    Make - The code of the vehicle manufacturer.
    Model - The code of the vehicle model.
    Year - The year the vehicle was manufactured.
    VIN - The 17-digit vehicle identification number or assigned by the manufacturer. Each VIN number is unique and contains a code that gives considerable information about the vehicle, including country of origin, manufacturer, and model year.

  • Select Modules / Appointments Calendar on the main menu or select Appointments Calendar from the Navigation Pane of the FUEL Service Department software.

    Use the calendar at the right side of the window to switch between days. You can also right click on the Appointments Calendar window, to use the following options:

    Go to Date - Select this option to move to the particular day.
    Go to Today - Select this option to move to the today's date.
