Use the following steps to put the work on the line on hold in the FUEL Service and Repair software:
Important: The line with the Finished or Booked status cannot be put on hold in the FUEL Service Department software.
- Select the necessary line or lines using the CTRL or SHIFT buttons on the keyboard.
- Click the Hold button. The Hold window appears.
- Select the reason for the hold from the Hold type drop-down.
- Enter the time in the Hold time field.
- Select the Is this car available for other repairs? check box to set the AVL / Line on Hold status to the repair order in the FUEL Service Department software. In this case the work can be started on other lines of the repair order. Clear the check box to set the Veh. disabled status to the repair order. No work can be started on the repair order in this case.
- If the repair order has the lines with the Working status, the Is this car available for other repairs? check box is selected and disabled. The repair order status remains AVL / Working in the FUEL Service Department software.
- If all other repair order lines have either Hold, Finished or Booked statuses the check box is cleared and disabled. The repair order status becomes Veh. Disabled in the FUEL Service Department software.
- The status of the line is changed to Hold. The status of the repair order becomes AVL / Line on Hold if there are no lines with the Working status or the repair order has at least one line with the Opened or Assigned status.
To start the work on the line which has the Hold status, open the line.
To change the Hold status of the line (e.g. from the Parts Hold to Sublet Hold), open this line and put in on hold one more time selecting the necessary hold type and time.
