Use the following steps to open the line of the repair order in the FUEL Service Department software:
Important: Only the lines with the Hold and Finished statuses can be opened. It is not possible to open the lines with either Assigned or Working statuses in the FUEL Service and Repair software.
- Select the necessary line of the repair order on the lines grid on the Dispatch window of the FUEL Service Department software.
- Click the Open button or select RO Line / Open line on the menu.
- If the line has the Hold status, the repair order has the Veh. disabled status, there are at least two lines on hold and the Open button is clicked, the 'Is vehicle available for other repairs' message appears. Click the No button to leave the Veh. Disabled status of the repair order. Click the Yes button to set the AVL / Line on hold status of the repair order in the FUEL Service Department software.
- If the line has the Finished status and the Open button is clicked, the Estimated Duration window appears asking the user to update the estimated duration of the work. Enter the new value in the Estimated duration field if necessary and click the OK button. From the moment the new estimated duration is entered, the FUEL Service and Repair software starts tracking the time anew, even if the line has actual hours they are not taken into consideration when the Left column is updated. That means that if the line is put to work again, the FUEL Service Department software will update the Left column as follows: Left = New Estimated Duration - New Actual Hours. The Actual column will show the sum of the old actual hours value and the new actual hours value.
- The status of the line becomes Assigned (when there is a technician assigned to the line) or Opened (when there is no technician assigned).
