Interface Overview of the fuel service department software
The main window of the FUEL Service Department software consists of the following parts:

Main Menu - The main menu of the application, which contains all the commands that are available for the logged in user.
Toolbars - Contain groups of frequently used commands for most users. Toolbars can be shown/hidden or dragged anywhere in the main window.
  • Navigation Toolbar - Contains commands for changing the view mode of the main window.
  • Document Toolbar - Contains commands for working with lists in the FUEL Service software.
  • Application Toolbar - Contains commands for working with the service and repair software.

Navigation Pane - The user interface element that contains commands that are predefined for the role or roles under which an employee is logged in. For more information about roles see the Define employee roles page.
Actions Window - Contains links for the most commonly used processes.
Navigation Tree - Contains links for the most commonly used lists.
Preview Pane - Displays different data of the service department software (list views, HTML resources etc) in a tabbed form. It is divided in to several parts:
  • Search Panel - Contains search functionality for objects that are displayed in the Objects Grid. Search Panel can be turned off, if necessary. See the Search function page for more information.
  • Objects Grid - Contains list of objects. The number of columns for each object can be customized.

Status Bar - Displays button-like links for open windows (monitors, forms etc).

To enable quick navigation between the Navigation Pane and list view, the FUEL Service Department software provides shortcuts:

    CTRL + F1 - Focuses the Actions window.
    CTRL + F2 - Focuses the Navigation Tree.
    CTRL + F3 - Focuses the Search Panel of the displayed list view.
    CTRL + F4 - Closes the tab in the Preview Pane.
    CTRL + F5 - Focuses the Objects Grid of the displayed list view.
