The Put to Work option is used for tracking the time the technician spends on the repair in service software. You can put yourself to work either on the line or labor operation. After you are put to work, the system starts tracking the actual hours for the work and updates the Left column value on the lines grid of the Technician Terminal window of FUEL Service Department software.
Put yourself to work on the line, in case it is not important, on which labor operation you start working: you are put to work on the first labor operation of the line, to which you are assigned and on which the work was not started. If it is necessary to start the work on a specific labor operation, put yourself to work on the labor operation in FUEL Service Department software.

- You can put only yourself to work on the line, otherwise when putting another technician to work the following message appears: You cannot start work on line as you are not assigned to this line.
- Only the line with the Assigned status can be put to work in service and repair software. If the line has the Opened status, first assign yourself to it. If the line has either Hold or Finished status, first assign yourself to it, if necessary, and open the line in FUEL Service software.
