VIEW LINE DETAILS in FUEL Service Department software
Use the following steps to see the detailed information about the line in FUEL Service Department software:

  1. Select the necessary line from the lines grid on the Technician Terminal window in service software.
  2. Select RO Line / Line details on the main menu of the window, press Ctrl + D on the keyboard or click the Line Details button on the Technician Terminal window. The Technician Terminal Line Details window appears.
  3. The Line Information section displayes the description of the line in service and repair software.
  4. The Estimated duration field displays the estimated amount of time for performing the current labor operation. The value is taken from the operation code.
  5. The Technicians Information grid displays the information about the labor operations of the line and the technicians assigned to or working on them.

    LOP - The sequence number of the labor operation on the line in service software.
    OP Code - The code of the operation.
    Description - The description of the labor operation.
    Technician - The control number and full name of the technician assigned to the labor operation in service and repair software.
    Actual Time - The actual amount of time in hours the technician worked on the current labor operation. The value of the field gets updated, when the technician is put to work on the line.
    Flat - The amount of sold hours for the labor operation. Usually this amount is taken from the Flat rate hours field of the operation code record or is entered directly on the Technicians Information window of the Post Charges module.


  6. The following actions can be performed on the Line Details window in FUEL Service Department software:

    Assign technician to the labor operation in FUEL Service Department software
    Put technician to work on the labor operation in FUEL Service Department software
    Remove technician from the labor operation in FUEL Service Department software
    Open the line in FUEL Service Department software
    Finish the line in FUEL Service Department software
    Finish the line partially in FUEL Service Department software
    Put the line on hold in FUEL Service Department software
    Update line story in FUEL Service Department software

    View technician jobs in FUEL Service Department software
    View technician time in FUEL Service Department software
    View technician flagged time in FUEL Service Department software

    Managing parts requests in FUEL Service Department software

  7. Use the Previous and Next buttons to navigate through the lines of the repair order on the Line Details window. If the description of the current line was changed, clicking these buttons saves the description automatically.
  8. Click the Close button to exit the Line Details window.


Note: Clicking the Cancel button does not undo the actions made with the labor operations or technicians.
